Welcome to the NDT & SHM Group led by Dr. Liangliang Cheng at the University of Groningen. Our team is advancing a novel paradigm in Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) applications. Our research encompasses areas including vibration analysis, experimental (operational) modal analysis, nonlinear dynamics, structural risk assessment and design, thermography, guided-wave inspection, computer vision, artificial intelligence, and data-driven modeling and inverse design.
